Service of the Ineffable Mercy
A Ritual of Intercession for Souls
PURPOSE
The Service of the Ineffable Mercy is a sacred rite performed to intercede on behalf of souls who have departed the body in a state of spiritual impurity—those who have not repented, and who are, or may be, bound to the outer darkness, and who are otherwise barred from ascending into the Light-kingdom. Through the invocation of the Mystery of the Ineffable, this service seeks to liberate such souls from the chastisements of the dragons and rulers, and to guide them toward rebirth in a righteous body capable of receiving the Mysteries of the Light.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SERVICE
To perform this rite, the following spiritual and ritual conditions must be met:
1. Spiritual Readiness of the Intercessor
-
Must be a person who has accomplished the Mysteries or is in communion with the Light.
-
Must hold sincere compassion and intention in their heart for the soul in question.
-
Must be capable of invoking the Mystery of the Ineffable with purity and precision.
2. Identification of the Soul
-
The intercessor must know the soul by name or essence.
-
Must be certain that the soul has departed in sin and is deserving of outer darkness.
-
Must hold the soul in their heart during the rite, naming it in the invocation.
3. Performance of the Mystery of the Ineffable
-
The sacred mystery must be performed in full, without omission.
-
Upon completion, the intercessor must speak the prescribed invocation:
4. Invocation of the Virgin of Light
-
If the soul has completed its circuits, it is to be led before the Virgin of Light.
-
The Virgin seals the soul with the Seal of the Ineffable and casts it into a righteous body.
5. Baptism by the Seven Virgins of Light
-
If the soul is ready, it is led before the seven virgins who oversee baptisms.
-
They seal it with the sign of the Ineffable and lead it into the Orders of the Light.
6. Assistance of the Receivers of Melchisedec
7. Final Purification and Placement
-
If the soul has completed its circuits, it is baptized, chrism, and placed in the Treasury of the Light.
-
It awaits ascension with the perfect souls and is eventually purified anew and placed in the order of the First Saviour.
OUTCOME
If performed with devotion and accuracy, the Service of the Ineffable Mercy may:
-
Release the soul from the dungeons of judgment.
