The disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Why do you speak to the people in parables?” He replied, “The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them... Matthew 13:10-16 confirms there were two sets of teachings: one for common man, that taught earthly things, and one for those of the Light, that hold the secrets, mysteries, and signs of heaven.
